The 1002 has been designed for broad frequency coverage with linear polarisation. The 1002 is mounted on an insulating tube and is centre-fed with an integral choke balun.
With nominal frequency coverage from 130-550 MHz, the 1002 provides a unique antenna solution for fixed site applications covering VHF and UHF frequencies.
In typical applications, with 15M of low loss cable, the typical VSWR seen by the transmitter is under 2:1 from 130-1000 MHz.
