Specialist Antennas is pleased to introduce a new range of Helical GPS antennas to the UK market. Manufactured by US company Maxtena, the range includes a dual-band helical GPS stub antenna for GPS and GLONASS and also a dual band L1/L2 helical stub antenna.
The GPS/GLONASS antenna measures just 48mm in height and 18mm across the base and offers a 1dBic performance in both GPS L1 and GLONASS bands. With an axial ratio typically 0.5 dB, upper-hemisphere efficiency >40%, this small Precision GPS/GLONASS antenna is able
to operate in the most extreme and demanding applications giving maximum satellite reception.
The GPS L1/L2 dual band antenna measures 50mm in height and 30mm at its base with a typical realised gain of 16 dBic. With an axial ratio typically 0.5 dB, upper-hemisphere efficiency >40%, a high-linearity LNA enables this antenna to be highly effective in precision GPS applications.
Their small size and lightweight features make these antennas perfect for both military and commercial applications. The connectors available for these antennas are SMA-Male and TNC-Male.
